I had to laugh at the timing of this post – my first post. Because seriously, I think the Universe is drinking Kool-aid.

My intention with nonresidentalien is to share life as I see it. To share with you the things I see and how I experience them. And on this, the first post, I can tell you that in the last 48 hours I’ve seen a lot.

There has been earthquakes in Canada, robots taking wrong turns, big people getting fired, flooding in the prairies, and an upheaval in life that I may survive only with Red Bull and Ketchup Chips.

Yes I said Ketchup Chips – little morsels of greatness that come from Canada in wonderful bags of heaven.

Navigating this new reality of being a legal illegal, a graduate student, of trying to find my place in an industry full of big people and big ideas, while also trying to maintain normalcy is rough sometimes. And sometimes it’s awesome. So as we go forward please keep in mind, I’m just drinking the same Kool-aid as the Universe. It’s fun. Grab a cup and let’s get going.
